RRB JE Electrical Engineering Exam Pattern

The RRB JE Exam Pattern comprises three stages:

1. RRB JE CBT – 1
   
2. RRB JE CBT – 2
3. Document Verification/ Medical Examination

RRB JE EE Stage-1 C.B.T. Exam Pattern

There are a few points which the students must remember about the Stage-1
C.B.T. Exam:

• The exam will be objective in nature.

· The exam in total will consist of 100 questions, divided into 4
categories.

• Each question carries one mark.

· The marking scheme involves negative marking. 0.33 will be deducted for
every wrong answer and a mark will be allotted for every correct answer.

• The duration of the examination is 90 minutes.

· PwBD enjoys additional time. Their duration is 120 minutes.

• The exam will be conducted in offline mode.

RRB JE Electrical Engineering Eligibility 2022

Given below are the eligibility guidelines as per the RRB.

Ø Nationality

• Candidate should be a citizen of India
• A subject of Nepal or Bhutan,
• Tibetan refugee permanently residing in India, having arrived before 1st
  January, 1962.
• Any person belonging from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam who is of Indian Origin and shifted to India, with the intention of permanently settling down.

Ø Age Limit

• Minimum age limit- 18 years
• Maximum age limit- 33 years.

Ø Educational Qualification

• Candidates who are in the final year of their degree/diploma are not
  eligible to apply for RRB JE 2022 examination.
• Three years Diploma in Engineering OR
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering OR
• Combination of sub-streams of basic streams of Electrical Engineering.
• The certificates of Diplomas and degrees are required to be from an institution or University recognized by the central or state government.
• It is to be kept in the notice; only graduated degree holders can apply for the job post. Final years or students currently graduating are  prohibited to apply.

RRB JE Electrical Engineering Step wise Application Process 2022

The steps to apply for the post of RRB JE are given below.

Step 1:
Visit the Official Portal of Railway Recruitment Board i.e., http://www.rrbcdg.gov.in/

Step 2:
After registration on the RRB portal, candidates can begin filling the RRB JE application forms by clicking ‘already registered’ on the home page.

Step 3:
Login by using the registration number and fill in all the essential details correctly.

Step 4:
Choose the post preferences

Pay the application form fee through credit card/ debit card/ net banking etc.

Step 6:
Upload all the necessary documents carefully and confirm the declaration.

Step 7:
Click on submit for final submission.

List of Documents Required

1. Passport size photograph in JPEG format having 35mm X 45 mm measurement and the size should be no more than 240 KB.
2. Photo ID: Aadhar Card or Pan Card in JPEG format. Size must not exceed 500 KB.
3. Educational Qualification Certificates: Marksheets of class 10th, 12th, and graduation.
4. Signature: JPEG format with 80 mm to 35mm measurement and size not exceeding 240 KB.

The steps to download the RRB JE admit card are given below.

Step 1:
Visit the official website of the Railway Recruitment Board http://www.rrbcdg.gov.in/

Step 2:
Enter candidates need to login credentials and registration number received at the time of submitting the application form.

Step 3:
Now candidates will be redirected to a page. The option of “Download Admit Card” will be given over there. Click on it

Step 4:
Enter the password received at the time of filling the application form or your DOB in the prescribed format and submit it.

Now the Admit Card of the RRB JE Exam 2022 will appear on the screen
