Railway RRB Group D Level 1 Recruitment 2022 has released the RRB Group D 2022 exam date notice on 30th June 2022. As per for RRB Group D Exam Date 2022 Notice, RRB Group D CBT 1 is to be held from 17th August 2022 onwards for recruiting 1,03,769 vacancies for the posts of Track Maintainer Grade-IV, Helper/Assistant in various technical departments (Electrical, Mechanical and S&T departments), Assistant Pointsman, Level-I posts in other departments of Indian Railways. Railway Recruitment Board conducts RRB Group D Level 1, RRB NTPC and other railway examinations giving candidates a golden opportunity to fulfill their dream of joining the prestigious Government Sector (Indian Railways) in India.

RRB Group D Vacancies 2022

As per the official notification, there are 1,03,769 non-gazetted posts to be fulfilled in various units of Indian Railways through the RRB Group D exam 2022.

RRB Group D Eligibility

The RRB Group D eligibility criteria are stated below.

RRB Group D Nationality

• The candidates must be Indian citizens to apply for RRB Group D.
• A subject of Nepal, Bhutan, a refugee from Tibet, or a person of Indian origin who migrated from other countries to permanently reside in India is eligible to apply.

RRB Group D Educational Qualifications:

1. Class 10th pass certificate, or
2. ​ITI degree or diploma

RRB Group D Age Limit

General category candidates within the age group of 18 to 33 years are eligible to apply for RRB Group D. Other category candidates such as OBC/ SC/ ST/ Ex-Servicemen/ PWD will get age relaxations as usual.

RRB Group D Medical Fitness

Apart from these, every RRB Group D applicant must meet the Medical Fitness criteria as specified by RRC viz., A-2, A-3, B-1, B-2, C-1, C-2.

RRB Group D Application Process

Registration Process

The step-by-step instructions for RRB Group online registration process are as follows:

Step 1: Select the RRB which you wish to apply for and click on “New Registration”. The RRB once selected cannot be changed after the Registration Number is allotted.

Step 2: Enter your name, Date of Birth and Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Aadhaar Number, Secondary (class 10th) Registration Number, Year of Passing, Mobile Number, and Email-Id and then submit.

Step 3: After verification of mobile number and password through OTP; the Registration number will be displayed on screen.

Application Process

1. Login on the homepage using the registration number and password.
2. The application form has two parts. In Part I, candidates need to provide details of Educational Qualification, Community, Gender, Religion, Ex-SM, Minority, EWS, and other details as required.
3. In Part II, candidates have to mark his/her priority/preference of the posts.
4. Candidates are required to select the language of RRB Group D exam 2022. However English is the default language. Candidates will have to fill in other details like Mother Tongue, Identification Marks, Permanent Address, etc.
5. Candidates will have to fill in the details of a valid Photo ID card in the application which they will have to bring in as proof during CBT, PET, DV, Medical, or any subsequent stages of the exam.
6. Candidates who appear in CBT will be eligible for an application fee refund. Candidates will get a refund on the application fee in the same account through which they have made the payment. Those candidates who do not wish to receive the refund in the account through which payment is done or those who paid their application fee through challan; must provide the beneficiary account details in the online application form.
7. Candidates will be required to upload a scanned copy of their photograph and signature. The size of the photograph must range between 20 KB to 50 KB whereas the signature must range between 10 KB to 40 KB.
8. Candidates belonging to SC/ST communities will have to upload scanned copies (50 KB to 100 KB) of their caste certificate to avail of a free Railway Travelling Pass during the RRB Group D exam.
9. After agreeing to the terms and conditions, candidates must submit the application form.
10. After submitting the form, candidates will be redirected to the payment page. RRB Group D application fee payment can either be made online via Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card/UPI or via Offline Challan.
11. Candidates are advised to download a PDF copy of submitted application form for future reference.

RRB Group D Admit Card

Steps to download the RRB Group D admit card/ hall ticket

Step 1: Visit the official websites of your selected RRB region.

Step 2: On the home page, click the link “Download the e-call letter, city intimation slip and free traveling authority for SC/ST candidates”.

Step 3: Candidates will be redirected to the login page.

Step 4 Enter Registration Number and Password

Step 5: RRB Group D 2022 admit card appears on the screen

Step 6: Download the Railway Group D admit card PDF file and take a printout (colour preferably).

RRB Group D Result

RRB Group D results are declared separately by different RRBs on their respective websites.
Generally, RRB Group D results are announced 3-4 months after the exam.

activated in this article.

The qualifying marks for UR/ EWS/ OBC/ SC/ ST category candidates are 40/
40/ 30/ 30/ 30 respectively. There is 2% relaxation for PWD candidates.

RRB Group D selection process

RRB Group D selection process has 4 stages:

1. CBT (Computer Based Test)
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
3. Document Verification
4. Medical Fitness Examination

The RRB Group D PET is qualifying in nature and passing it is mandatory.
The qualifying criteria for male and female candidates are different and are mentioned below.

Based on the performance of candidates in CBT subject to their qualifying in PET, candidates, same the number of vacancies will be called for Document Verification (DV)/ Medical Fitness Test as per their merit and options.

RRB Group D Cut-off

The list of candidates shortlisted for RRB Group D PET will be based on the performance of candidates in the RRB Group D CBT exam. The candidates scoring marks equivalent to or more than the minimum RRB Group D cut-off score will be called for the further selection process.
