About IBPS PO Job

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is a central recruitment agency under the ownership of the Ministry of Finance, Government of India. IBPS is Conducting Organisation that conducts an IBPS PO exam to recruit eligible candidates for the post of probationary for different public sector banks in India. IBPS CRP PO/MT-XII is conducted for the selection of candidates in 11 public sector banks. IBPS serves all public sector banks such as PNB, BOB, Union Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, SBI, NABARD, RBI, and LIC.
IBPS PO is one of the hottest jobs in India when it comes to securing the future. The salary and allowance facilities are the primary attraction for many candidates regarding these posts.
Aspirants get selected in two tier-prelims and mains which are conducted by IBPS. Descriptive Test Pattern

The descriptive test includes 2 sections, the same will carry a total of 25 marks with a time limit of 30 minutes to attempt.

Letter Writing – The candidates can be asked to write a formal, semi-formal, informal, letter based on general topics, banking awareness and current affairs.

Essay Writing – An essay is a long article on any topic. The topics may range from descriptive, current affairs, contemporary issues, narrative, argumentative, etc.

IBPS PO Eligibility

Given below are the eligibility guidelines as per the IBPS.

Nationality

• Candidate should be a citizen of India
• The subject of Nepal or Bhutan
• Tibetan Refugee who came over to India prior to the 1st of January, 1962
• A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Burma, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, East African Countries i.e. (Uganda, Ethiopia, Zambia, Kenya, Malawi, Tanzania) and/or Vietnam and Zaire with the intention of residing
  in India permanently.

Age Limit

• Minimum age limit- 20 years
• Maximum age limit- Not more than 30 years as of 1/8/2022.

Educational Qualification

IBPS PO Selection Process

The IBPS PO 2022 selection process involves 3 stages.

Stage 1: Prelims – Only those candidates qualifying for the prelims shall be eligible for the mains.

Stage 2: Mains – The candidate is required to secure the minimum cut-off marks in order to clear this stage. Only those candidates who clear this stage shall be called for the interview stage.

Stage 3: Interview – The interview is the last stage. This will be a face-to-face interaction wherein the candidate will be asked questions by a panel of members and on the basis of the marks obtained in both mains and the interview, the list of the officially selected candidates will be finalized.
